There are an incredible number of places on the internet to get knitting patterns, some free, some not free. Since I do not live close to yarn store I rely these wonderful sites a lot. These are great places to get inspired or just get lost in. Sometimes the mind is willing but the fingers are not. That’s the time to let the mind wander and imagine! Ravelry is an incredible place to find patterns and finished projects. It’s a great resource for advice, yarn info, reviews of patterns, yarn, groups, a place to store your patterns and keep track of your stash. If you don’t know about Ravelry check it out and sign up. It’s free!
Berroco offers a newsletter and a free pattern every week delivered to your email. On their website you can also look at their yarns, pattern booklets and blog. There is also a “Learning Center” with How to videos and more.
Interweave is an amazing place for pretty much all things crafty not just knitting. Sign up for the newsletter, it’s one of my favorites. Articles include helpful hints, new patterns, guest writers, notices of sales and new books.
